THE DAVINCI CODE?
by James Issa
PART II
Jesus is a stumbling block to those who want a religion where they decide the limits.
Jesus is a stumbling block to those who do not want the restrictions that Christianity
imposes. Jesus is a stumbling block to making all religions one. All we need to do is make
him mortal and then we can make him a guru.
Jesus is no guru.
He is the Son of God-John 1:14, John 3:16, Matthew 16:16, Psalm 110:1, Proverbs 30:4,
was eternally divine on earth-Colossians 2:9, and in Heaven-Acts 2:33, Revelations:
1:17-18, and the
ONLY way to God-John 14:6.

It surprises me that people always link Jesus to Mary Magdalene. Many people claim that
she was the woman caught in adultery portrayed in the movie "The Passion of the Christ."
There's no where in the Bible, where she's identified as such. The woman is not
named-John 8:3. I believe if it was Mary Magdalene she would be named, after all her full
name is always given as Mary Magdalene. Her actual name is Miriam. Mary is the English
version. Magdalene refers to the town where she comes from whic is actually Magdala.
Her name therefore is Miriam from the town of Magdala. It is strange how Mary
Magdalene is mentioned previously by full name in Luke 8:3, as one of the women who
ministered to Jesus out of their resources, but after several activities in the life of Jesus to
this adulteress woman, she Bible is silent. In any case if she was the woman caught in
adultery, wouldn't it make sense that she would be reconciled to her husband. There are at
least 4 Mary's named in the Gospels-Jesus' Mother, Mary the wife of Cleophas-John 19:25,
Mary the sister of Lazarus from the town of Bethany-John 10:39, and Mary Magdalene.
Some have also said she was the sinful woman who poured oil on the feet of Jesus and
wiped it with her hair-Luke 7:37-47, however, this woman is not named. In Mark 14:3, the
oil is poured on his head, but since the same host-Simon is named, it is believed to be the
same person. See also Matthew 26:6. In John 12:3, this woman is identified as Mary the
sister of Lazarus. On this occassion the oil was poured on His feet. It's possible the oil
pouring was done by Mary the sister of Lazarus and not Mary Magdalene as portrayed.
