THE CHOSEN PEOPLE?
by Kai Simone-Issa
What is the correlation between the rejection of the Jews and the rejection of (Yeshua) Jesus?

You have probably are already figured out the answer to that question, just by reading the statement prior.  But let's look a
little more deeply into this interesting correlation.  First of all, mankind has been rejecting Yahveh's Law since the beginning.
Genesis 3:6; 4:7; 6:5-6.  We have been committing sin against Him, each other and even ourselves since the beginning.  When
we reject Yeshua, once again we reject Yahveh. We reject righteousness.  We reject the way to escape sin. We reject the way
in which Yahveh designed to have us brought back into fellowship with Him.

2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 states that our own stubbornness has resulted in Yahveh allowing us to believe the lie.  The "lie" is
that Yeshua is not the Savior and Redeemer of the world. The "lie" is that Yeshua is not Yahveh's Son and that He is not all
man and all God.  If  one continues to reject this message, ultimately he/she  will eventually believe the great "lie".  The lie
that man is god or that we all have the capablilities to become "little gods".

As for the "followers" of Yeshua, we should take extra precaution in not rejecting the Jewish people.  Their heritage, lineage
and obedience to Yahveh have allowed the plan of Yahveh to be successful.
Romans 9:4-5.  They kept the service of God, and through great persecution, preserved the the Word of God (Bible) for us.
Without them we wouldn't know the promises, knowledge of God,  Word of God, or Salvation. We would not even know
that there was a way of escape or a Messiah.(Yeshua).  Remember that the concept and understanding of a "Messiah" is a
Jewish belief.  Zech 9:9, Matt 21:2,5 & 9.   Gentiles created their own gods to worship, because we didn't have the revelation
of the truth.   Man, left up to his own intellect of trying to figure out a Holy God, will always end in foolishness and fairy
tales.

No wonder He calls them the apple of His eye.  Many will say "The Jewish people have sinned and they also rejected
Yeshua."   You are right!  Their obedience is in keeping the customs and Laws that would allow for Yeshua's prophecy of
Himself to be fulfilled.  But more importantly than that, they worship Yahveh.  They worship the one true God of the
Universe.  Their culture kept this for all of mankind.   Imagine if they had not completed this for us..  Maybe we would all be
worshipping statues and cows or
people (idols and superstars or senators) by now.
And about the Jews rejecting Yeshua, well that was in Yahveh's plan. Keep in mind that not all of the Jewish people rejected
Yeshua. ( God always kept a remnant) But the Bible states that they would be blind (but only for a little while) so that all
could be saved.  It's simple, if the Jews had excepted Yeshua; He would have never been crucified.  They would have received
Him as their Messiah and demanded that He establish a kingdom on earth before it's time. (That of course was not the will of
Yahveh, so it would have never happen) anyway.  The rest of the world (including the Jews) would not have been given the
opportunity to receive salvation because there would not have been
anyone to pay the price for our sins.
They are chosen not because Yahveh thought they were cute or something, they were chosen for a
purpose.

So you see that this whole thing of rejection is rooted in the" lie."  When Gentiles reject the Jews,  We are rejecting a part of
God.  We reject a part of Yeshua (He was Jewish not Roman).  When Jews reject  Yeshua, they reject the one way that
Yahveh designed for reconciliation. The bottom line is that you just can not have the one without the other.
Don't take my word for it, pick up the Bible and read it, all of it.  If you really want to follow Yahveh, He will reveal to you
the Truth.  But have the courage not to reject the truth when He gives you the facts.
Repent and turn away from your sins today! All of them! Receive salvation!
Oh yeah, and stop Jew hating!
